The camp was organized in partnership with the Anchor of Hope Association for nearly 40 children from the protection system and we pursued an individualized intervention with a volunteer for each child in order to effectively address the emotional development as well as sensory processing therapies.
Interventions were based on therapeutic interventions for children with a history of trauma and aimed to increase their capacity to recognize and manage emotions, express feelings through arts and games, as well as develop their social integration capacity by assuming the basic principles (no hurts, have respect, stick together) – prerequisites for the golden rule – “have fun”!
