We believe a child can only grow emotionally healthy inside a family. Unfortunately, due to legislation gaps, many of the abandoned children in Romania are condemned to living in institutions because they cannot be adopted or an eventual foster family is facing significant risks.

Therefore, we are actively involved in changing the legislation on the best interest of children. We joined “Romania Without Orphans Alliance” and we’ve already submitted proposals to change adoption laws. We are advocating for opening the international adoptions, making the process more efficient with less risks for adoptive and foster families and keeping children outside institutions by facilitating their integration in families, either on permanent or temporary basis.
